MACEDON, Koinon of Macedon. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Time of Gordian III, AD 238-244. Æ (26mm, 13.98 g, 7h). Head of Alexander III, as Herakles, wearing lion skin right / Alexander on his horse, Bucephalus, galloping right. AMNG III 734; cf. SNG Copenhagen 1372. Good Fine, worn dark green patina.
